Nicole Brown, MD

I’m a native of Louisville, KY. I earned my undergraduate degree in biochemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Dayton. After completing my Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, I remained in Cincinnati for a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. My pediatric cardiology fellowship was completed at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center (UPMC) before returning to Cincinnati once again to be the first Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) fellow here. I have been on the faculty at Cincinnati Children's ever since.

I am the medical director of Cincinnati Children’s Adult Care Services under the leadership of the Chief of Staff office and co-director of the Marfan and Aortic Disease Clinic. I am also an attending cardiologist for the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program and the associate director of the ACHD Fellowship Program.

My primary clinical and research interests include all forms of congenital heart disease, management of pregnancy in the setting of cardiovascular disease and genetically mediated aortic disease. I participate in various clinical, educational and research activities within the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children's and at several neighboring hospitals.
